简述值日高职英语教学中“值日”行动

摘要:国家《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》(试行)明确指出:高职英语教育以培养学生实际运用语言的能力为目标(教高司[2000])。目前,我国高职学生英语语言运用能力较弱,特别是口语表达能力亟待提升。值日报告是一种在培养和提升英语口语表达能力中被广泛运用的策略,但作者实践中发现效果并不理想。为了提升高职学生英语口语表达能力,本论文采取行动探讨的策略,探讨值日报告的持续推行能否提升学生的英语口语表达能力。本论文作者对湖南省交通职业技术学院机电系09级22班大一50名学生进行了为期17周的教学行动探讨,旨在解决推行值日报告历程中出现的三个不足:1)高职英语教学中是否有必要继续推行值日报告活动?2)引起值日报告效果不佳的理由是什么?3)值日报告活动的推行是否能提升高职学生的英语口语表达能力?本探讨根据Krashen的可理解性输入和Swain的输出论述对学生进行了为期15周的指导和训练。该行动探讨分八个步骤进行:1)发现不足2)提出假设3)初步调查4)重新确认不足5)制定并实施行动探讨6)调整计划7)探讨结果8)行动探讨反思。在探讨前、后分别在学生中进行了问卷调查;分别进行了口语预测和后测;分别对学生进行了探讨中、后的访谈;探讨历程中教师坚持写日志,并要求学生每次课后写日志。作者采取社科统计软件包SPSS(13.0)对问卷调查、口语测试的结果进行了定量浅析。同时,对访谈、课堂观察和抽查日志所获得的数据和信息,进行了定性浅析。本探讨结果表明:经过这次行动探讨,作者解决了“值日报告效果不佳”的课堂教学不足。同时,通过对本探讨历程的反思,作者感受到行动探讨是英语教师解决困惑,提升教学能力和推动教师自身专业进展的好策略,并对以后英语教学提出了一些倡议。关键词:行动探讨论文值日报告论文输入论文输出假设论文反思性教学论文
