摘要：人际元功能源于韩礼德的系统功能语法。作为语言的三大元功能之一，人际元功能主要用来帮助讲话者建立和维护某种社会联系并试图影响或转变听话者的态度或行为。人际元功能是通过语气系统、情态系统和声调系统这三种形式予以实现的。批评性话语浅析是语言学工具的分支，它强调对系统功能语法等论述的掌握。纵观批评性话语浅析在国内外的进展，发现在我国国内其进展速度较慢，且述论文章较多而对口语语篇的实际操作性不强，由此本论文将采取口语语篇作为语料进行批评性话语浅析。美国第44任总统奥巴马于2009年1月20日正式走马上任。首位非裔美国籍总统用其慷慨激昂的演讲渲染了美国民众。本论文将采取奥巴马在其竞选总统期间发表的160篇演讲作为论文语料进行浅析。本论文以韩礼德的系统功能语法为论述框架，依据批评性话语浅析和语料库语言学进行定量与定性相结合的浅析，通过对语气系统和情态系统两方面的细致探讨，探究奥巴马竞选总统演讲词中的人际作用类型的展现形式。探讨结果表明：奥巴马在竞选的各个阶段根据场合的不同选用了具有不同功能的语气类型。其中，陈述语气是其演讲的主调，其次是祈使语气和疑问语气。在政治演讲中，演讲者在提供信息时，大量利用陈述语气来表明其政治立场和态度，同时利用疑问语气来强调和断言所传递的信息；演讲者在要求行动时，采取祈使语气直接表达命令和要求，同时利用陈述语气间接委婉表达命令和请求。以情态系统方面来看，演讲者采取表意愿或义务的意态表达多于情态表达。在情态值中，中量值占主导地位，其次是高量值和低量值；演讲者采取中高量值可以增强演讲的可信度和说服力。在主客观值中，客观性表达词的运用性广泛于主观性表达词；演讲者运用客观性表达词可以增强演讲的客观性和可靠性。作者希望此探讨能够提升人们选择恰当的语气类型或情态类型表达其交际目的的意识以及提升人们的批判意识。关键词：人际作用论文语气论文情态论文
